New Invoicing Process and Cancellation Policy FAQ’s

When new policies come into play, we know how things can get a bit confusing so wanted to take the time to answer a few of the most commonly asked questions regarding our new Invoicing Process and Cancellation Policy- Effective as of 15th October 2021


Do I need to make changes by the 1st of November for all upcoming bookings for the next year?

No. After the 1st of November, you will still be able to make changes to future bookings that do not fall within November as our invoicing process will work on a month-by-month basis. 


Will I still get a refund if I cancel with 7 days’ notice?

No. Our 7-day cancellation policy no longer applies. Any changes for bookings in the upcoming month will need to be finalised by the 1st of that month. After this time, all booking costs for bookings within that calendar month will be retained and cannot be refunded. 

Any cancellations of bookings that fall from the 1st to the 7th of the month will still follow a 7-day policy. For example, if you need to cancel a booking on the 4th of November, this would need to be done 7 days in advance to avoid cancellation fees.


Can I amend my bookings after the 1st of each month?

We may be able to extend or add additional bookings after the 1st of the month where staffing and availability permit, but we cannot reduce your hours or amount of bookings.

Please note that the original price paid will remain the same, even if:

  • You move to an alternative cheaper space
  • You reduce the timings of your booking
  • You need to cancel your booking

Does this mean I will be paying in advance?

Yes. Your invoice will be sent on the 15th of the month for all your bookings that fall within the following month. Taking care of things in advance means that you have the chance to look ahead and make sure everything is correct before making payment by the 1st of the month.


What happens if School Space needs to cancel my booking?

If there are late cancellations we will never charge you for spaces you didn’t use, and apologise wholeheartedly for the inconvenience. We will never make a cancellation without exhausting all options to enable the booking to go ahead, and it is never something we do lightly.

Any cancellations made by School Space will be refunded for the amount of the affected session within 10 working days.
